Palaio Frourio is an old citadel, old Venetian fortress built on top of an islet, being surrounded with fortifications. Parts of its perimeter (eastern part) suffer erosion, being lost in the sea.
What is unique about the Acharavi Beach is that it stands out as the longest beach in Corfu. Acharavi is the most important northern seaside resort.
The beach in Agios Stefanos (North East) is laced by several small coves which provide an excellent shelter for those in search of seclusion.
