The Gardenos Beach is less famous among most of the visitors coming to Corfu in view of sunbathing. Nevertheless, it is worth discovering by those who enjoy isolated and less crowded sunbathing venues. As compared to other beaches on the island, it is also less endowed in terms of modern facilities, but this shortcoming is evened by the natural assets of the place: deep waters, velvety sand and its being located near a fresh water river.
The display made available by the Museum of Ceramic Art speaks about what is characteristic of Corfu in terms of ceramic art.
Located some 13 kilometers westwards from Corfu Town, the Pelekas Beach (also referred to as the Kontogialos Beach) is an inviting stretch of sand
Paleokastritsa is, by far, the jewel beach resort on the west coast of Corfu island. Its main attractions are the blue flagged beaches and water sports.
